The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) participated in the Dissemination Workshop for the National Digital Education Strategy (NDES) 2030 and its Implementation Guidelines, held on 14–15 January 2026 at Dr. Mafumiko Hall, GCLA, Dodoma, under the theme “Integration of Digital Technologies to Enhance Teaching and Learning.”
SUZA was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic, Research and Consultancy, Prof. Abdi T. Abdalla, who also served as a panelist in a high-level discussion involving DVC-ARCs from selected strategic universities, focusing on digital transformation in higher education.
The workshop, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, brought together key stakeholders to advance the implementation of the national digital education agenda.
