The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA), through its School of Education, organized a public lecture on improving academic and research writing skills for postgraduate studies, with a special focus on students whose first language is not English.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. Emmaculee Harushimana (Ms. Maua) from City University of New York (CUNY), USA. The event took place at the Global Centre for Kiswahili Studies Advancement (American Corner), Vuga Campus, on 12th February 2026.
