ACADEMIC PROMOTION
The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) is pleased to inform the University Community and the general public that the University Council, at its 82nd Meeting held on 9th December 2025, approved the promotion of the following member of the academic staff.
From Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor
Dr. Hassan Rashid Ali, Department of Natural Science, School of Natural and Social Sciences.
Since his promotion to Senior Lecturer in July 2019. Dr. Ali has earned a total of 11 points (8 from publications, 2 from teaching, and 1 from graduate students’ supervision).
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to him for his unwavering dedication to advancing the SUZA’s reputation.
We wish him continued success in his academic pursuits and future endeavours.
