Reference Services

Are the direct personal assistance library users receive to meet their information needs. These services are provided at the Reference Department/ section by a Professional Librarian. This section also provides the Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) and Current Awareness Services (CAS).

Wi – Fi services

All SUZA main and branch libraries offers free wireless to access library services to its users.

Users’ Education

includes the orientation week to new students, weekly user training program to introduces the students on how to use the library resources, Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC ), electronic resources, reference materials and database search strategies and techniques.

Loans of Information Materials/ Resources

Lending is available for books on open shelves. The loan period is two weeks for students, administrative staff and other registered members. The loan period is four weeks for academicians.

Request Services

Books which have been borrowed can be reserved through the library management system ( OPAC ). When the requested book is returned the library staff will notify the member who made the request.
