The Department of Kiswahili is responsible for the teaching of Kiswahili from Diploma to PhD level. Additionally, the Department undertakes research in Kiswahili and helps for both local and foreign students wishing to pursue researches in Kiswahili. Also, the Department supervises students' researches.
