Haji Muhajir is a library and information professional currently in the final stage of his Master’s degree studies. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Library and Information Studies (BALIS) from Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College (TUDARCo). He has developed strong interest and experience in electronic resources management, digital libraries and information services. To strengthen his professional capacity, he has attended several short courses and professional trainings on electronic resource

management organized by INASP, Research4Life, COTUL, TERNET and the Tanzania Library and Information Association (TLA). These trainings focused on improving skills in access, management, and utilization of electronic information resources in academic and research institutions. His academic and professional interests include digital information services, electronic resource management, and improving access to scholarly information for teaching, learning and research.
