Rahibu Abassi received his bachelor’s degree (B.S.Ed – Physics/Mathematics) from the Department of Natural Science of the SUZA, Zanzibar-Tanzania in 2010 and the M.Sc. degree in Biostatics from Hasselt University, Belgium in 2016. From 2011 to 2015 he was mathematics tutorial assistant, an assistant lecturer from 2016-November 2023, and became a lecture from December 2023-onwards in the Department of Natural Science of the SUZA. Also, he is the head of Quality Assurance (QA) unit of the State University of Zanzibar serving from 2023. His research interest includes disease modelling and applications of statistical-oriented imputation techniques in health-related studies.
