Is a seasoned media and communication expert, academic, and journalist with over 16 years of experience covering media production, corporate communication, and higher education. He is a Lecturer and Head of the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA). Dr. Abdalla holds a PhD in Journalism from Marmara University, Istanbul, an International Master’s in Comm. Policy and Leadership from East China Normal University, Shanghai, and a B. A Mass communication from the Muslim University of Morogoro, Tanzania. He has published broadly on media, communication, and education policy, and is a Freelance Journalist with various local media as well as an international correspondent for Hunan Daily in China. In addition to his academic and journalistic roles, he is actively involved in community development, consultancy, and training in media and communication across East Africa and beyond.
