Dr. Mohammed is a Senior Lecturer and business strategist with   multidisciplinary background at the School of Business. He holds  a PhD in Industrial Economics with a specific concentration in  Capital Market and Financial Engineering from Wuhan University  of Technology in China. He also holds a Master in Marketing from  the University of North Umbria, UK and an Advanced Diploma in Certified  Accountancy from by then The Institute of Development Management (IDM) – Mzumbe.  As a researcher and educator, Dr. Mohammed specializes in the nexus of Industrial  development, Entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, focusing on how Small and  Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can leverage market analytics and financial discipline to  scale operations. His research interests include financial market, inclusive finance  and the practical application of economic theories in entrepreneurial venture.
