Mr. Mohamed Khamis Kombo is a Principal Librarian in the Directorate of Library at the State University of Zanzibar. He holds a Diploma of Library and Documentation Studies from SLADS (2005), Bachelor of Library and Information studies (2011) from Tumaini University, a Master of Arts in Library Information Studies (2017) from the University of Dar es Salaam. He served as the first Coordinator of SUZA American Corner for five years.

He also has been serving in as Director of Library Services demonstrating commendable leadership, professionalism, and strategic coordination. Mr. Mohamed Khamis Kombo is professional footprint reflects strong engagement in the areas of Library and Information Services. Beyond this, he has undertaken assignments with different Professional Organizations such as Association of Zanzibar Librarians and Information Specialists as the General Secretary, Board ‘s Member of Zanzibar Library Services.
