Dr. Rodolfo Isidro Bosch Bayard is a medical doctor and specialist in Internal Medicine, trained at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, where he obtained both first- and second-degree specializations in Internal Medicine. He holds master’s degrees in Urgencies and Medical Emergencies in Primary Health Care, Public Health and Ageing, and Dementia Syndrome, reflecting a strong academic focus on clinical care and population health. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2009 at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, and served as Head of the Internal Medicine Department at Carlos J. Finlay Faculty of Medicine from 2017 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been a Lecturer at the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA), where he was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2025. Dr. Bosch Bayard has been an active member of the international 10/66 Dementia Research Group for five years and has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals
