Rahibu Abassi received his Bachelor degree (B.S.Ed – Physics/Mathematics) from the Department of Natural Science of the SUZA, Zanzibar-Tanzania in 2010 and the M.Sc. degree in Biostatics from Hasselt University, Belgium in 2016. From 2011 to 2015 he was mathematics tutorial assistant, and became an assistant lecturer from 2016-onwards from the Department of Natural Science of the SUZA. Also, he is a head of Quality Assurance (QA) unit of the State University of Zanzibar (serving from 2023 through 2026). His research interest includes disease modelling and applications of statistical-oriented imputation techniques in health-related studies.
