It is my pleasure to welcome you to the State University of Zanzibar Library. The library which support teaching, learning and research activities of the university community by providing relevant and preferable information resources and services such as electronic and printed information resources with local and international content coverage. To enhance the utilization of these resources, the library is highly organising technical support by giving intensive user library education which instruct them the services we offer , allocation of information resources, how to retrieve and using information resources .
On top of that, the library is well organised and equipped with facilities which provide a conducive environment for reading, reflecting and writing.

To ensure that, information services are always of high quality and well-aligned with teaching, learning and research activities, the library works hand-in-hand with the university's community in acquiring new information resources. Because of that, the library is tirelessly striving to
keep up with technological developments to ensure digital access to information through acquisition of digital information resources, and provision of digital awareness training program to library staff and users.

Overall, we, the library team, are so determined to serve our users across all disciplines to enable them effectively using information resources for the academic and research activities. We are all-the-time excited and happy to be part of your academic and research journey.
