The BSU project has conducted various outreach activities with the community and stakeholders in Environmental Health (EH) and Marine and Coastal Ecosystem Services (MACES). Different dissemination strategies were employed to ensure that the research findings reached as wide an audience as possible. The following outreach and dissemination activities were performed:

• Publications in academic journals
• SUZA Research Day exhibition
• Zanzibar Research Conference in collaboration with other partners
• Mini-symposiums, workshops, and seminars with relevant stakeholders
• Eco-school-based programs
• Documentaries on marine litter, plastics, and coral monitoring
