{"id":19986,"date":"2026-08-14T08:54:30","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T08:54:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/suza.ac.tz\/?p=19986"},"modified":"2026-08-14T09:03:22","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T09:03:22","slug":"bsu4-phd-students-present-research-progress-to-work-package-leaders-at-suza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/suza.ac.tz\/?p=19986","title":{"rendered":"BSU4 PhD Students Present Research Progress to Work Package Leaders at SUZA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zanzibar, 14 August 2026<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 PhD students under the\u00a0<strong>Building Stronger Universities (BSU4) Programme<\/strong>\u00a0today presented updates on the progress of their research work to their respective Work Package (WP) leaders at\u00a0<strong>The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) Main Campus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/suza.ac.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG_2845.heic\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19998 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The progress presentation session was held in the&nbsp;<strong>BSU4 Room<\/strong>, bringing together PhD students and academic and project leaders to review ongoing research activities, discuss achievements, identify challenges, and receive guidance for the next stages of their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session was attended by&nbsp;<strong>Dr. Idrissa Yussuf, WP1 Leader<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Dr. Fatma Hamid, WP2 Leader<\/strong>, together with other BSU4 Work Package leaders who participated virtually from the northern region.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the session, the PhD students shared their research progress, highlighting key activities completed, preliminary findings, challenges encountered, and plans for moving their research forward.
